UDS land can be sub divided? UDS land can be sub divided?

I am planning to buy a new individual row house from a builder. Two houses share a land area of 2200 sqft. Though house is registered individually between two owners but the land ownership is shared between two house owners as UDS(1100 sqft each). Is there a way that with mutual concern of two house owners we can sub divide land area to have individual owners for land without UDS. So that there is no dependency on each other for any house alterations in future

A.hello
You could mutually talk out this with your neighbour and sub divide the land area to be the individual owners. But although you have got the property registered seperately therefore there is not much need to do so. It must have been mentioned in the registered deed regarding the same.
Thanks.

A.Hello
If the other onwer is mutually ready to sub divide the land area to become mutual owner then you could do so by going to the registrar office and divide the land and get seperate portion registered on your name.
Thanks
