inferior quality product delivered, description of product was false in website

Recently i bought a wardrobe from a reputed website for 26k. The primary material was mentioned as rubber wood, but after the product was delivered i found out its made up of completely of particle board type rubber wood which is available for around 13k in market price. Im trying to request a return but customer support is not responding. Please let me know how can i approach thia legally

If the customer service aren't response then you could file a complaint and suit in the consumer court of your place. You could initiate with sending them a legal notice to comply with you otherwise you would initiate legal proceedings.

It would be advised to contact the customer care if they not solve your Issue you could file a complaint against the retailer in the consumer court.

A.The details are entered wrong deliberately because lot of people dont buy particle board so they even write engineered wood etc.
But writing rubber wood is cheating.
You can file case in consumer court and get refund + compensation.

A.Issue them a legal notice and if it is not replied or not complied within 15 days than you can think of filing case in the consumer Court in Bandra if your are located in Mumbai. Thank you.
