Dear Sir
I wanted to give new surname to my son, is there any restrictions or law stopping me to keep this ?
Please help me in thak regard
A.Hi,
The son's name should be regarded as the original name at the moment of birth. However, there are other ways to alter a person's name. The most common approach is to file an affidavit and then have it published in a local newspaper. There is no prohibition against changing your name, but if your family has a tradition that stops you from doing so, you must challenge it.
Thank you. Kindly rate the answer.

A.Hi,
At the time of birth, the name of the son should be considered to be the original name. however, there are a number of ways in which a name can be changed most popularly used method is filing for an affidavit and then publicationin a local newspaper. There is no bar from changing the name however if there is a particular custom in your family which prevents the same then you have to contest that in the court of law.
Thank you.
