Dear sir,
My wife is working as a PG Teacher at government aided school in tamilnadu.Now she is 8th month pregnant so she want maternity leave but the school management asking her to give money Rs15000 to school from her salary throughout the leave period. The School rules says the teachers should be stay inside school premises leaving their family and small children. So I need legal opinion for these problems.kindly give me suggestions

A.Dear Sir,

You can file the complaint against the school authorities. As per law, it is the right of every women who is pregnant can seek maternity leave without any deductions in the salary. No one in the organisation is allowed to deduct the salary.

A.Hello
To provide relief to the working women we in India have maternity benefit Act. Under that it's your right to get a maternity leave without any deductions in the salary. If the school authorities are not acting according to that then you could file a complaint against them under this act.

A.Hello Sir
It you wife right to get a maternity leave from her employer without any deductions in the salary.
If the school management are doing so she could file a complaint against them.
