Mutual Divorce - Petition Withdrawal due to Reunion
We (Husband and wife) were coerced and brainwashed by relatives for mutual divorce and we have filed for the same in court and both of us appeared before family court judge. Within two months, we have realised that we wanted to live together and reunited. Now, the lawyer says we need to file a petition to withdraw our suit for mutual divorce. Due to pandemic crisis, we are in a dire financial condition. We can't afford lawyer fee. Questions: If both of us not appearing or filling a withdrawal petition, will our mutual divorce application be dismissed automatically? Can we avail free legal/lawyer support to file for withdrawal of our divorce petition, since we cannot afford court expenses? Shall we appear on our own without a lawyer's support?
