Writ in matrimonial issue Writ in matrimonial issue

My sasural is not letting my wife stay with me and my family , due to their financial greed as my wife is working woman but when I say them let my wife and child stay with me and my family but they threat me indirectly of police and legal step on me and my whole family so we are very helpless and fearful of dowry case or false case.can we get directions from court to police so that when they file f.i.r or court case on my whole family so that police will inquire the matter unbiased or truly. One of lawyer has suggested that you make one application of your issues and send it to s.s.p office and file a writ in high court so they will not be able to file a dowry or false case on you and even they won't be able to know about it.is it true?

A.In such matrimonial cases or family dispute WRIT is not maibtainable. Talk to your wife so as to ascertain her decision regarding marriage and you and if she is also of like mind then first take your wife and child and the file complaint to police and also file suit for permanent and mandatory injunction against your in laws.

A.Hi,
As you are suggested, you can give a police complaint and it is better to send a copy of the same to the SP office. You can file a complaint as per Section 498A of IPC.

A.Hi,
You can file a complaint to your nearest police station. Send the copy of the complaint to the SP office by post. If you feel that the investigation is not going properly or the police are not showing interest in your case, you can approach the magistrate and file a complaint.
