Hi, as a graphic designer I did some work for the client. He paid me 70% till the project get finished. But, now he is not willing to pay the rest of the 30% amount. He has all the files related to design. What should I do now? How can I get the rest of the amount? The client is a properly registered company.

You can sue him. You have the right to get the amount which he has agreed for your work. Issue him a legal notice asking to pay the sum and you can also ask for compensation if you had any loss because of his delay.

You can move legally. You are entitled to get the amount as per the agreement and any breach will lead to the infringement of the contract. You can sue him and claim compensation for your losses along with the agreed payment.

A.Dear Sir,
If at the time of entering into a project to be done for the client, if you and your client have made an agreement , then, you are entitled to claim the money compensation to be received from the client on the basis of breach of contract as the client has not done his part of the work. Also you can send legal notice to demand the money outstanding.
Kindly rate if you like our response.
