Client deducted TDS but hasn't deposited Client deducted TDS but hasn't deposited

Hi, we are looking to hire a lawyer who can help us recover TDS.

One of our clients has deducted Rs 14,000 as TDS but hasn't deposited against our PAN number.

They had deducted and deposited the tax in FY 19-20 but the last FY 20-21, they haven't deposited it. Due dates have already passed.

When I sent them a notice, they just replied by sending a thumbs up.

Need help.

A.Hi,
To guarantee that there are no misunderstandings between the two parties, it is recommended that you ask for a proper answer from them. TDS was created with the goal of collecting tax from the source of income, and if there is an issue, you can prepare and send a legal notification.
Thank you very much.

A.Hi,
It is advised to ask for a proper response from them to ensure that there is no misunderstanding between either party. The concept of TDS was introduced with an aim to collect tax from the very source of income and if there is any problem then you can draft a legal notice and send them.
thank you.
