A company delivered me a laptop and discounted headphone. I had to return the laptop as it was in non working condition. The executive who came to pick up the product did not pick the headphone saying not required. Eventually refund was processed and the complete amount was refunded,even of the headphone. The company now contacts me after 2 months asking me to return the headphone . Am I obligated to return headphone as it was mainly their ignorance and fault and more over they made me run pillar to post for my laptop refund

A.Hi,
You don't need to return the headset as you are told by the company agent not to return it at the time of delivery. He is the agent of the company and the company has liability upon it.

A.Hi,
If you are told to keep the headset by the company agent at the time of pick up, you can keep it. The company can't claim back anything which they have rejected to accept once. Principal is liable for the act of his agent.
