A document cannot be registered at two places. It is a valid document once it get registered anywhere. Although a better advice could be given if you could provide with what type of document it is.

In general a document cannot be registered at two different places or states. Once registered is valid for every. Although a better advice could be provided if you could provide us with the information of what kind of document is it.
