Pending Criminal Case Pending Criminal Case

I was involved in a cybercrime case in which there were two sections against me which were Section 66 C and section 354D which are still pending after 4 months of FIR and I want to pursue a master's in the USA after 1 year. Can I get a visa and PCC before that. Can this case get settled in a time duration of a year?

A.Hi,
A pending case would hamper your chances of getting a VISA since the case is still at the FIR stage. This means that the Police have the authority to clear you to be eligible for the VISA. This case may or may not get settled before that. However, if the case is aggressively pursued, then the chances of it getting settled is very high.

A.See if the case is pending then Police will not provide you clearance rather they will mention that in the report that you have a pending case against you. This will certainly cause trouble for you to get you the VISA. what is the status of your case and check with a lawyer if your case cane be quashed at High Court.
