Wrong case filed
My wife had blackmailing me saying if i speak or visit my parents she would commit suicide.so i have filed a complaint in police station and they have counciled her and told me to drop her in their parents home. After dropping her she and her family made a false complaint of 498A and 354A sections on my whole family and FIR has been filed against us. What can we do?
A.Filing an application for quashing of false FIR under section 482, CrPC in the High Court is one course of action. Further, a writ petition under Article 226 of the constitution can also be filed in case of a false FIR.

A.You will need to hire agood criminal lawyer to defend yourself in the lower/trial court where the case will be filed and moved. If you have the proofs and previous details given to the police then you can very well get the acquittal order.
Secondly you can also think of filing a quashing petition at the High Court.
