Rental agreement

My doctor friend who took rent for his hospital but the owner said he will provide the agreement rental paper after few days but due to covid he didn't gave any agreement paper but now he's saying to vacate as another party apporched him to set up hospital by paying more money now that owner is forcing him to leave can we can go legally or any other options to fight

A.Is there any communication between them to showcase that there was some kind of offer and acceptance for the rental agreement. Also is there any rent paid to the landlord? If the answer is yes then probably you can make a case out of it and fight it in a court.
