OBC NCL certificate related OBC NCL certificate related

Hello sir/mam, I am a group-c govt employee with annual gross income of around 7 lakhs and father is a farmer of annual income around 50-60 thousands From agriculture only. I come under obc and want to apply for OBC NCL certificate in the state of Bihar to get age relaxation in central government group-a/b jobs. I already prepared my residence and cast certificate but, confused about the source of income to be declared for income certificate. If I declare my income in the application , whether it should be based upon just last financial year or an average of last year's? Some sources of information tell OBC NCL is only related to father's income other than agriculture. Kindly guide my eligibility as well. Thank you.

A.Hi,
A person can apply for an OBC certificate only if the annual income of the family is less than rupees eight lakh per annum. If it were more than the given figure, they would not be getting the non-creamy category certificate. (Income from agriculture/farming is not included in this). This means that, income earned from agriculture would not be counted towards the annual income and thus you are eligible for OBC Non-creamy lawyer certificate.
