A.Hi, yes, anyone is entitled file for a divorce at anytime provided a reasonable ground exists for the same. It is worth noting that currently, acceptable grounds of divorce include: 1) Adultery, 2) Conversion to another religion, 3) One of the couples suffering from an unsound mind, leprosy or communicable venereal disease for at least two years before the filing of the divorce., 4) Not been seen or heard alive for a period of seven or more years., 5) Failure in observing the restitution of conjugal rights for at least two years., 6) Inflicting cruelty and giving rise to mental anxiety that can be injurious to health and life., 7) Wife can file a divorce based on the grounds of rape, sodomy and bestiality.
The dowry case and physical harassments case against your may provide a good enough case for Cruelty (point 6).
If you found this helpful, kindly rate me.

A.I would not call it as entitled to file a divorce case but certainly you get a ground to file a divorce case on the basis of mental cruelty caused to you due to the false dowry case leading to loss of mental peace and reputation in the society.
