i am 15 years old now but when I was 5 years old, my parents hired a tuition teacher who abused me for 6 years but I couldn't figure it out for years and after knowing also I took months to tell the truth to my mother, they fired him without any legal actions but I want to take legal action. as it has been 4 years since they fired him , can I still file a complain or take any legal action against him.
A.Hi. I am sorry for what you had to go through. To answer your question, yes, you can still file a complaint under the POSCO Act. The government has clarified this position that victims of child sexual abuse can file a police complaint after they become adults. There is no period of limitation for the same.

A.Yes you can file a case against him and you can do so as per the POCSO Act which is more stringent than the Indian Penal Code and will make the accused undergo a sever punishment if proved beyond doubts. File a complaint in the nearby police station and let them do the further job.
