Purchase of property
In 1923, 4 persons purchased from one Iyengar. 1. Periya Subbaiya Gounder (PSG), 2. Chinna Subbai Gounder (CSG), 3. Chinne Gounder (CG), 4. Anganna Gounder (AG).
In 1942, 3 persons did the partition of whole land, leaving the AG.
There is no details about AG in the partition deed.
In 2009, PSG sold his portion of land to 3 persons. 1. Chinthamani, 2. Vijayalakshmi, 3. Mayilsamy.
In 2010, Chinthamani sold 2 acres to the present 11 owners.
In 2011, Vijayalakshmi sold 2 acres to the present 11 owners.
As of now there are no issues in the land, EC is also clear. We will get the EC from 1942 today.
Only issue is Missing of Anganna Gounder, if we don't get his death certificate or his legal heir certificate, we need to give a paper add mentioning the details of the land, asking for objections from anyone for the purchase of land. If no one turns within 15 days, we can proceed with the registration.
Can we buy this land or not

However, the limitation for challenging the 1942 partition deed, if it is registered, has passed.
In any case, my suggestion is to produce copies of all documents before a Civil lawyer and obtain their opinion on it.
