Cheque bounce charge
My bank charged me for a cheque bounce due to NSF reason. As a player I was not at fault.
The drawee paid the full amount through online transfer immediately afterwards, but refused to pay the charge incurred by me, which was due to his fault.
Is there a law, which says, that I can demand the 300 Rs bouncing charge from the drawee?
This is not a gift or donation. The drawee was legally obliged to pay me.
A.Dear Client,
There is no legal provision for the same. However, to recover the amount you may file a legal notice. If you have a written agreement for the payment you can use it in your favour.
Thank you!

A.Did you have a contract in place to ask for these kinds of charges or payments. There is no law which regulates this except if you had had written agreement for the same.
If you wish to demand Rs. 300 from the other party then send him a legal notice through a lawyer.
