I had taken a gpa of 18 people to sell our land I have sold the land now I am distributing the money they are blackmailing me for more money they have charged the sdm for registering the gpa, now what should do the power of attorney was made in mutal understanding of family now they are playing game with me

A.Hi,
Power of Attorney, or POA, is a legal document giving an attorney-in-charge or legal agent the authority to act on behalf of the principal. You have the right to do in accordance with the power of attorney and they can't do anything if you have done something in that capacity.

A.What do you mean by they have charged the SDM for registering GPA. If you have done everything as per the GPA then you need not worry so much. Try to distribute all the money through cheque to keep records of money being paid.
