How should I proceed if PIO provides me with Incomplete/irrelevant information for the details sought under RTI?
A.Dear Sir,
You have to approach Appellate Authority to challenge such wrong information furnished by PIO then the Appellate Authority may direct the PIO to furnish the accurate and relevant information as sought by you in your RTI Application.

A.Dear Client,
The Central Information Commission has spelt out the role of a PIO, in detail, and it is important that you, as an RTI applicant should be aware of it. Time and again, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued circulars and guidelines and also repeatedly directed all public authorities to strictly abide by the Section suo motu disclosures. You can consult the same.
Thank you!

A.To give opinion, it is necessary to know the nature and character of that incomplete information as well as about the office of that PIO who has furnished it. Without knowing the relevant facts of the case, proper legal remedy through online opinion cannot be suggested.
