Notice period Notice period

The official notice period is mentioned as 60 days in my offer letter and appointment letter. In the employee handbook document there is an 'At will' employment policy/clause defined which states that it may get extended maximum upto 90 days. So employer is asking me to serve the notice period of 90 days, however in my offer letter and appointment letter it is clearly mentioned as 60 days. Is 'At will' employment valid in India and do I need to serve the notice period of 90 days.

A.Dear Client,
Considering your situation and ability to retain in the firm, you can wish to go by the words of the appointment letter as it clearly states 60 days and doesn't necessarily have to go for the 90 days period.
Thank you.
