Problem in name

My name is Raju Roy and my father name is Gopal Chandra Roy. Now the problem start in my birth certificate it is written as Raju Roy s/o Gopal Roy (Chandra is missing from my dad name) now in all my documents from class 10, 12 graduation, post graduation, voter card, aadhaar card, pan card, I mean everything documents of mine it is written as Gopal Roy only. Where as my father write his name as Gopal Chandra Roy only in all his documents. Now, I recently got selected in police job (SI) they are asking every documents of my and my parents, so what should I do know?? Will affidavit will work in this situation if yes...then who will do it...me or my father?
A.Dear Sir,
If police department do not accept the available documents then approach High Court or Service Tribunal and you must take defence that your father is known both by Gopal Chandra Roy and also by Gopal Roy.

The affidavit signed by your father will definitely work in this situation. Your father had to affirm it before the judicial or metropolitan magistrate that both name is of him.
