I have been advised by my bank to get an indemnity/undertaking for re-issue of my bank FDR (which has been misplaced). What value stamp paper should I use?

A.Dear client,
the value depends on each state for the bond. Usually, it is done for Rs. 100 to be on the safe side. You can visit the stamp duty act of the state you wish to do or the government websites to know the exact amount. Here is another simple website that can guide you - https://www.corporate-cases.com/2016/02/stamp-duty-on-indemnity-bond.html
Thank you.
