What is going my case: divorce case status

This is wrt my recent post re: What is going on my case; I need to understand what is happening to the Notices and summons that are being issued by the court. How do I find out if the notices issued by the court have been accepted by the opposite party or not? Can this be done online? Do I need to physically goto the court and enquire with the clerk or something? I need to figure this out soon as my divorce case is still stuck at the Notice stage and its been more than a year since the divorce was filed.
