Fraud transaction in credit card
A fraud transaction has happened in my credit card. I got a call stating that they are from credit card customer care and they gave few info about me to convince me. After that they said my credit card is equipped with old chip and they want to send me new card. For that they said they will send an OTP to transfer cash to new card and I have provided the OTP and my credit card got debited. I have filed a complaint in Cyber cell, but they said there is no hope to get the money back. Now credit card people are calling and coming to home frequently. What can I do now ?
A.Dear Sir,
Once you have lodged complaint with Cyber Police then they will investigate and asks the credit card people to co-ordinate with Cyber Police and to refund your amount.

A.Go to your Credit card provider and talk to the concerned person and ask him to co-operate explaining the matter and file an online police complaint on the website of the police of your jurisdictional area in respect therein and keep copy of the same available with you in hard copy and soft copy format and you can also go to local police station and get the hard copy certified by a police officer so that if anyone comes to recover such money from you or files case against you than you shall show copy of such online police complaint filed by you as evidence. Thank you.
In such cases, there is little to no chance of your money being recovered. You may get your credit card blocked and replaced with a new one to ensure such fraud does not take place again.
Thank you.
