I recently messaged a call girl via whatsapp but we never agreed to meet and never met. I only asked about the charges and all but we never meet. So, is it a legal or not?

A.Dear client,
Conversation with a call girl is not legal offence, but if you indulge in some sort of escort activities in public, then you will be punished as per the provisions of Indian Law.
Thank You.

A.Dear client,
It is illegal to ask someone for sex under the Information Technology Act in India. It is also illegal to engage in phone sex. However, if it was a normal conversation not involving any such details then it is perfectly fine. If a charge is brought against you by her, then legal action may be taken after investigation.
Thank you.
