Cheque Bounce case
Dear sir
My father has given some money (in cash) to my relatives and taken cheques and promissory notes.
We have put the cheques for collection and they are bounced. We have sent a legal notice to them..They replied that cheques were stolen through legal notice.
To proceed further they have sold their house and fled away..Currently we dont know their address.Could you please advixe anything about it.
A.Dear Client,
You can file a cheque bounce case against them as you already have a promissory note to prove that they owed money to you. You can also file a Money suit to recover your dues on the basis of the promissory note. Additionally file a case of cheating and fraud on them by lodging an FIR.
