Holding Of Passport And Demanding Of Money By A Foreign Education Consultancy

Sir/ma'am, We talked to an agency regarding my admission in general medicine in Russia. He told us that he would take a certain amount, kept on saying and writing about the package, we denied we don't want the package, and would pay just the processing fee. Now when the time to fly to the country is near, he is asking us to pay for the package or else he will not give us our passports and certificates back, also, he is asking us to pay for services like library fee, annual charges which the university does not ask for. Please help.

Immediately send them a legal notice asking the passport to be returned. If they don't do it then file an FIR with the local police against them stating that they are cheating and demanding money to return the passport. The police shall take care of it.
