In same society in Ahmedabad, we had two properties - one with my mom and another with my aunt name, and recently we did FERBADAL Sale Deed so names has been swapped by paying half STAMP DUTY, now society is asking for Rs 50,000 transfer fees n Rs 1,00,000 Development fees from each property/owner. How much are my mom n aunt liable to pay to society for SHARE CERTIFICATE Transfer fees?

I am not able to understand that why the society is asking for such big amounts for share certificate transfer? Ideally they should seek a small fee which is applicable for transfer of shares and that is what they should ask for.
