Customer gave me 2 blank cheque that I lost now

Customer gave me 2 blank cheque that I lost now and I don't have the cheque number also.
I have asked person to stop payment cheque request to bank. Now he is not transferring the money to me.
How can recover the money from that person.

A.It is also necessary on your part to request the concerned customer to provide you the cheque numbers and other relevant particulars in respect of those stolen cheques so that you can lodge general diary before the police station so that in future none can use those blank signed cheques for mala fide purpose causing prejudice to that customer.If you have valid document signifying the concerned customer's liability to make payment to you, then it is necessary to give him legal notice specifying him to make payment within stipulated period of time enclosing a copy of that General Diary therein with undertaking that as those bank signed cheques were stolen from your custody that's why you have made the concerned police complaint so that if anybody try to use those cheques in future, then that person will be considered liable for such theft .

You can send him legal notice for the payment of money and if he does not reply then you can go ahead and file a case against him in the civil court for Non- payment. The case will be filed on the basis of your invoices, receipts and other documents available with you.

Ask that customer to remit the money or else you will have to go in a legal way to recover the money from him. If he does not pay heed to that then send him a legal notice through an advocate followed by a money suit to recover the amount.
