Dear Sir/ Madam,
My brother is 24yrs old, In 2020, there was a fight between students in college. and the guy which got hurt, he complained in the police station and FIR was filed. later, the boy agreed that he will take back the case. but the police told us that once the case in the court, only then this case may be dismissed. after that we didnt get any call from Police or court. My brother got job in Qatar and he moved here 6 months back. he is charged as A4. Now suddenly day before yesterday, his friends has got call from police station and have told to come to court as there is summon on 6th. That boy is ready to take back the case. What will be the consequences for my brother for not appearing in the court. Is there any possible ways to help us out.

A.Dear client,
The Court may take action against him for not appearing in court unless and until he has a good reason for not appearing. You can hire a lawyer to represent your brother and ask the lawyer to explain the situation for your brother not appearing. The lawyer may also ask for some time to allow your brother to come back to appear or request for him to appear through video conferencing.
Thank you.

A.Dear Client,
Since your brother is an accused hence he is required to appear in the court on the day of hearing. As he is in Qatar and cannot appear so, you must hire a lawyer who can represent your brother on that day in the court and will apprise the court about the whereabouts.
