Lucrative Offers indulging into Fraud Commitment Lucrative Offers indulging into Fraud Commitment

My relative has recently accepted an offer for online typing job which guaranteed to a salary of Rs 15-20k per week. She didn't read the terms & conditions carefully and accepted the offer in written on mail.

However the terms & conditions mentioned were almost impossible to qualify for anyone even with the best of typing experiences. Moreover one of the clause even read that if the candidate fails to complete the stipulated task within the week, he will have to pay Rs 6000+ tax as portal usage & penalty for non-completion of task.

After a week, the company has now sent a legal mail seeking Rs 6000+tax. It also mentions that if the amount is not paid, legal notice & court proceedings will be served.

What should be done now under this scenario?

A.Dear Client,

You can challenge the validity of the said offer on two grounds: (1) Impossibility of Performance and (2) Unreasonable Conditions.
Alternatively, you can file an FIR or approach the Cyber Cell, in case the company is not legitimate and it seems as an incidence of fraud/scam.

Thank you
