A.Dear Client,

To buy an agricultural land in India you need the permission of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), as NRIs cannot purchase agricultural property without the RBI's permission. Any person residing outside India or a foreign national who wishes to purchase agricultural land, plantation property, or a farm house should contact The Chief General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Central Office, Exchange Control Department, Foreign Investment Division (III), Mumbai 400 001.

Thank you
