A case has been registered against me under section 406 & 420 and police is asking me to come police station and record my statement.. what should I do? So the case scenario is my friend asked to do share trading in his demat account with 10 lakh in October.. then i started trading and made a profit of 1 lakh and made a loss of 4 lakh.. after that he told me not to do trade but again I did and made a loss of 5 lakh.. do total 8 lakh loss happened and i don't have money to pay him.

You may contact an advocate before going to the station and apply for anticipatory bail.

A.Don't go directly to record statement, but contact a good lawyer from VIDHIKARYA in ur locality & apply for BAIL. As you will be arrest once the statement is completed.

What your friend has done is that he has filed a complaint citing criminal breach of trust and cheating by you. Did you have the written authorization from your friend to do online trading on his behalf? You need to engage a good criminal lawyer to who can defend you in the court of law.
