We are Buying a property in 2012 from a seller. The seller registered that land to us with Incorrect Survey Number with correct boundaries. Recently we known in 1990 s that land is sold by some one with written agreement only but that person didn't Registered that land and also didn't stay single day in that land.but we are staying in that land since 2012 . We are asking about incorrect survey number but the seller told that ladn is belonging into Gramakantam land that's the reason to register that land into Gramakantam survey number and also told that land previously not saled to that agreement person. We are staying in that land without out electricity. May I have full rights on that land.??

A.Dear Client
If there is a discrepancy in the deed in terms of survey number then you must get that corrected by making deed and getting that registered with the Sub-registrar. Unless you do that you will keep on having this issue and your rights will remain questionable.
