How the date of hearing fixed by the court can be changed?

If the date of hearing in a writ petition is after three months from today, can it be changed to a closer date, then how?

It is almost impossible to change the dat which is fixed by the Hon'ble Court and if you try to do that by mentioning your case then it will require you to inform the other party as well as seek the approval of the court. Most important is the reason why you want to change the date. Unless it is a sound reason the court will not listen to you.
