Witness challenging the will Witness challenging the will

Sir
My father bought a property in 1986 in the name of his father through his own money. A will was written by my grandfather in 1989 in favour of my father and my uncle is a witness to the will. One more witness was there but he is dead now. My grandfather died in Oct 2021 and now my uncle is objecting to the will saying he doesn't know about the will and also the will is forged. He himself is a witness to that will.
The will is duly registered. What should we do now?

A.Dear Client,
As the will is registered then your uncle cannot challenge the will as it must be registered with ssub-registrar’s credentials too.

A.Dear Client
If the will is registered then during the registration the sub-registrar would have taken his credentials too. If that is done then it will not be possible for him to challenge the will. You can file an application for probate in the court of law and let him challenge there. If he challenges then the probate will be converted into a trial and there you can prove that he is wrong.
