A.The RTI Act was introduced with the sole objective of empowering people, containing corruption, and bringing transparency and accountability in the working of the Government. The Right To Information Act mandates that timely response be given to any citizen who asks for it.

A.RTI is right to information. You can seek information from a particular department by placing an application with very nominal fees. But RTI is not allowed in such matters where national defence is in danger.

A.RTI, is the legal rights to citizen to get informations on paper from Govt. departments or from institutions who are semi government organization and companies which are financed or administration owned by govt. Bodies, may be NGO, Trusts, if financed by govt.
