Elimination from Project

I have been working on a bank project for 6 months. Suddenly, my company asks me to Stop working for that client without any reason , warning and advanced notice. They told me that my client wants me to stop working for them. Is it fair to tell me to stop working on a project without any reason on the basis on their need and will.
Please suggest me what should i do

If it has been stated in the guidelines of the company or the employment agreement that employees have to be served a notice in advance in case they are removed from a project or the company should state the reasons for removal of an employee from a project then you can send the company a legal notice for their action.
