The employer is refusing to give a reliving letter The employer is refusing to give a reliving letter

My husband was working in Government Stamp and revenue department as a network engineer deputed by Bangalore-based Quess corp limited. The project was closed on 15th Nov'21 and he keep on mailing the concerned company and HR manager to process relieving letter and pending 2.5-month salary .but till now we have not a single reply from their end. If we call HR she says do whatever you want, if we call the manager he won't respond at all. My husband was selected by one of the private companies, but BG got rejected due to a relieving letter. Even we have given a complaint to the labour department in Mysore, they will say we will not able to ask the employer to give relieving letter, we can only ask them to clear the pending wages which need to be settled from the employer. Its almost 4 months my husband literally tensed and went into depression. Currently no job. no relieving letter. So much family financial commitment. We don't know how to deal with this. If the employer behaves like this whole family needs to suffer why can't they understand. He has served 4.5 years not having proper food and took up extra work pressure and finishing his work and coming late at night. Now I beg you to provide the solution. I'm not able to see my husband's situation.

A.Dear Madam,

E-mail representations may not work out. Better send legal notice by registered post & also approach office of Labour Commissioner to solve your problem. Further you may approach higher authorities in person.

A.Dear Client,

As per the facts which have been provided, you can send a legal notice to the employer mentioning all the facts and if no action is taken after that as well then you can file a Civil suit.

Hope this clarifies your query and requirement.

Thank you.
