My mother is a housewife and a widow and has been judiciously saving money aside in FD's. We are people of less means. We gv 15G form every year. We have never filed income tax returns. My mom is not tech savvy.Suddenly she has got msg saying she has not filed ITR for 2021-22. And to either file ITR Or submit online response under e-campaign tab on compliance portal. We are confused. We are middle class people n can't afford to lose any money. So please someone be kind enough to guide us what to do. She will be 60 years in June.
