my freind give me syndicate bank crossed check on march 2020 of rupees two lakh fifty thousands after bank merged with canara i ask my freind to settlle my money or give me valid canara bank cheques but he and her family request me to need some they deffinately arrange the money but now he says " i have no money take legal action on me " i try to submit the old cheque through bank but bank says it not a valid ceque so please guide me what to do and how recover my money and how take action against him.
