Unfair practices by the builder Unfair practices by the builder

I am living in an apartment for which the possession was given 5 years back. The builder forced us to take possession even without obtaining the Occupancy Certificate (OC). The OC has yet not been obtained and the apartment cannot be registered in my name. Which forum should I go to seek relief.

A.Dear Client,

There are several documents which are required during the purchase of a property but OC is a very important document which must be taken. Buyers have the right to take a legal action if developers do not give them the same.

A.Dear Sir,
You can approach Consumer Forum and also approach High Court for necessary reliefs. It is better not to spend the amounts single handedly and better approach other residents of your Apartment for facing with similar problems and share the expenses.
