I have purchased a property in begur road in 2019 and have completed the registry in Aug 2021...now as i have asked my builder to complete the sanitary fitting which is pending, he is asking me to pay 3.5 lacs as a interest for delayed payment but not ready to share the calculation and he is not even ready to demand the same over the mail...please advice me how to proceed in this case...he is also asking these kind money illegally to other buyers to complete the registration

You may file complaint case against the builder under THE REAL ESTATE (REGULATION AND DEVELOPMENT) ACT, 2016 ; in short RERA. ALL OF YOUR QUERIES ARE CLARIFIES AND THE PROBLEMS WILL BE SOLVED WITHIN 90 DAYS.

A.Dear Sir,

It seems builder has no intention to complete the sanitary work. Better get issue legal notice and there after file a suit for mandatory injunction to complete such work.
