what if a 20 year old muslim boy married a 22 year old muslim girl?. And my another question is that "If child marriage happened but court at some point got to know about it after many years (i.e, now the couples are more than 22 years old),then is it still punishable?".

A.Dear Client,

The 2006 PCM Act sets the legal age for marriage at 18 years for girls and 21 years for boys. However, Muslim personal law allows marriage if the boy and the girl have attained puberty, which is presumed once they are both 15 years of age.

A.Dear Sir,

Proving such marriage is very lengthy procedure though it is punishable. If any blood relative lodge a complaint then police may register a case and continue investigation.
