A.Dear Sir,
You have to run the case and come out of the situation. It may take years together for them to get fruits of such litigation. You can leisurely fight and take the matter in appeal.

A.Dear Client
First of all you need to respond to the legal notice properly after having discussed with a good lawyer as your reply will lead them to initiate a legal case.
Take some time and thoughtful decision to tackle this case as if they go to court and prove the point then you mend up paying the asked amount plus the damages that they would have sufferred.

A.It is entirely on you whether to pay or not but legally speaking your contract documents will have to be seen before we offer any advice or suggestions.

A.Until and unless that Franchise Agreement be scrutinized for its terms, conditions and in the context of default clauses on your part in the context of that Legal Notice sent by Lakme Head office, proper legal opinion cannot be given.
