My mother passed away few months back and my father is planning on marrying again. Against my and my brother's consent. I am 14 years old .
Can I stop this marriage? Or can I ask for other guardian( father's elder brother) custody of us ?

A.Dear Sir,
Yes, your senior uncle may become guardian by approaching the Court but you cannot stop your father from marrying out of the death of your mother. You may also claim for maintenance.

A.Dear Client
I don't think that there is a law which will allow you to stop the marriage of your dad. It can and should be handled by talking and discussion and may be through emotional point of view. You ca explore the option of guardianship under your uncle.
