Hi there, is it possible for 2 Principals to appoint one attorney in a Power of Attorney? Also, there appears to be errors in my parents name in the sale deed. How do we rectify this?

A.Dear Sir,
Yes, two or more principals can appoint a single power of attorney. Rectification Deed may be taken to correct mistakes found in the Sale Deed.

A.Yes, two Principals can execute Power of Attorney in favour of one person. In case of such errors in Registered Sale Deed, registered Deed of Rectification has to be done by the concerned Parties along with Identity proofs in support of the correct names of your parents.

A.Dear Client
It is possible that two principals can execute one single power of attorney in favour of one holder but it is not advisable to do so due to technical reasons.
To rectify the error in sale deed you will have to register a rectification deed with the sub-registrar or file a declaration suit

yes. 2 principles can appoint one attorney in a power of attorney. when any errors occur in sale deeds, both buyer and seller will have to go to the sub-registrar's office where the deed was previously registered. you will have to submit an application to the official, seeking correction in the document, along with all the supporting documents.
