Correction of 10th documents

My father has died. In my 10th documents , middle name of my father is missing, now how to correct that.

Since the rectification has to be done by the issuing university or board which usually do not do so as you were supposed rot provide the right name while filing the form. So, in such cases what you do is that you reach out to the Hon'ble court and get an order from there asking the university/board to rectify and reissue.

you need to make an affidavit for Name Change in local Notary. It must contain your Father's Old name, the New name and must also mention the reason for name change along with applicant details such as his Husband's/Father's name, Address and Age Proof etc. you belong to CBSE board and If you passed 10th class this year,you go to cbse board office and fillup the form of correction. with in one year you can correct the name of your father. if time is more than one year then you will file a case in the court.
