WhatsApp vulgar message Cyber Cell

Last year, A person post vulgar message on WhatsApp status against me and I have screenshot of those status. Now I file a case in Cyber Cell but they are not able to verify because WhatsApp does not maintained status record. Now, What can I do for this?

A.Please lodge a complaint with the cyber crime cell of your area or city.
Kindly take the screenshot of posted disputed material on WhatsApp,
Please provide the number and name of the person to cyber cell police.
if the police do not take the case forward you can ask my assistance.

A.Yes you have to file complaint into cyber cell. Let the cyber cell trace that person. Kindly take screen shot of posted disputed material on whatsapp.provide number and name of person to cyber cell police.

A.lodge a complaint with the cyber crime cell of your state. If they don't register FIR, write to the SP/CP or file a criminal case under section 156(3) IPC before a magistrate

A.You have filed a Case in Cyber cell, you have to provide all required information for investigation and action as per the Act.

A.That is a problem with the whatsapp statuses but has he posted giving any reference to you in any form say your name, or number or any incidence which can relate the status messages with his number and your name? If yes then you can explore ahead to implicate him. Try to figure out a way to co-relate the messages with your number and name. If you can't do that then it is pretty difficult.

A.You need to trace the person who posted it with the help of cyber cell but once the person is traced, you can file a private complaint before the Magistrate through a criminal side advocate
